Cinque Terre, Italy – Day 2

logo

The best way to enjoy Cinque Terre is by hiking. We started our journey from Riomaggiore to Monterosso. The trail which links all the villages is about 9km long and requires 5 hours walk. But we took more than 8 hours to complete it (why? because we stop along the way to take photos)! We found ourselves really exhausted after the hike. The remainder of our trip after CT was really killing our knee joint. However, this trip to CT was certainly worth it and will never be a regret.

The journey began.

The trail from Riomaggiore to Manarola is called the Via Dell'Amore ("Love Walk").
